The second annual Carlinville Art Fest will be held on Saturday September 28th from 9am to 2pm in the Carlinville Square.  The newly designed Imagine Rural Arts shirt will be available for purchase.

This year artistic offerings have expanded. The Square will welcome again the Macoupin County Art Bus with free creative art projects.  Splatter it Up and Chalk it Up will be represented as well.  Several local artists will display wooden wild life calls, jewelry and assorted cards by Carlinville’s own Cathy Neunaber.  “Make it and take it” crafts, face painting, live music, line dancing and more will highlight the day.  A new “Art Box” by the Imagine!

Rural Arts group will be opened at 130 E. Main Street with a Ribbon Cutting at noon, with cookies served by the Carlinville Queens.  Much of this family event is free, though donations of any kind are always welcomed.
